{ STYLE } Crazy bout Spikes and Pleather

Wow, can't believe I haven't been in touch with blogging in over a month! Full time work sucks out all the fun and time harharr *wahh* :( Here's my Sunday lunch outfit- all black, spikes and pleather. It's the middle of autumn already in Australia but the hot days have yet to end. It's meant to be sweater weather already!! Nevertheless, I couldn't go another day without wearing this badass jumper out.

Thanks to CHOIES for letting me pick this jumper! I'm obsessed with wearing spiked anything. I swear my collection of spiked apparel is growing- from necklaces, armcandy, shoes, sweaters, belts...yup..obsessed.

I'm finding cats on clothing and even on bags/clutches a really big trend at the moment. Many I've seen are too cute-sy for my liking but this fierce snow tiger made the jumper such an edgy statement piece which I totally love!

Wearing all black from head to toe really needed a punch of colour and vibrancy hence the bright neon citrine/lime cross-body bag.

Hope I won't neglect my blog for too long! I have some beauty reviews coming up next :D

Thankyou so much for reading <3

{ STYLE } Red Velvetini

I've been on the hunt for some velvet-y pieces lately and this red velvet number immediately caught my eye. Not just because of its gorgeous wine red colour ( unfortunately all colours are sold out on OASAP - though you can sign up for an email notification when it does come back in stock :D ) but also because of its very simple design and cut. I'm always on the look-out for really basic pieces because it's so much easier to style and so much more versatile. You can leave it as plain as it is or dress it up- add layers, different prints etc.

With any free-flowing dress, I love to add a belt around my waist to create shape and so it doesn't make me look so frumpy. I've really been overusing this skinny belt decorated with spikes and studs! Super love it!!

I don't know about you but the combination of velvet and leopard print makes me happy! A basic dress like this can be transformed into an A-line skirt just by the addition of a top. You can seriously make so many outfits when you have the basics in your wardrobe!

Yep! Mixing silvers and golds!

I am dying over these babies!! These taupe mary janes embellished with bronze studs and sequins on the heels...LOVE!!

{ NAILS } China Glaze : For Audrey

In love with this colour. China Glaze's 'For Audrey' nail polish is from their Something Blue collection which is a Tiffany-inspired gorgeous blue shade. It was made in honour of Audrey Hepburn and her role in the timeless classic, Breakfast at Tiffany's. Of course this is not an exact match of the iconic Tiffany blue as that colour is protected as a colour trademark by Tiffany and Co.

'For Audrey' with my favourite top coat, Seche Vite

This is my first polish from China Glaze and I am loving the formula!! You need around 2-3 coats to get a nice opaque creamy finish and it is super long lasting! This is what my nails looked like after around 7 days... (the worst chipping is shown here)

The longevity of this polish really blew me away! I couldn't believe that there were only a few minor looking chips after 7 days of wearing the polish. It could've easily lasted a couple more days before I REALLY had to change my nail colour. You may be thinking that it lasted this long because of the top coat but believe me, other nail polishes I've worn while using my top coat have never lasted a week or more.

I definitely want to invest in more China Glaze nail polishes. I've been browsing around and there are too many that I want >.<

Oh and I'm also searching for a really nice mustard nail polish colour. Any suggestions? : )
