Just the word "Butter" attracted me to buy 7 shades (silly me >.<). I was hoping for it to be completely different to regular lipglosses and imagined a more silkier and non-sticky texture. The description on NYX's website even says "..provides sheer to medium coverage on your lips and is never sticky". To me, they honestly feel exactly like your regular lipglosses and are sticky!!

I really am quite fond of the names of the glosses. It makes me crave sweets and cupcakes! To my knowledge, there are 12 different shades of Butter Glosses and they do have a very sweet vanilla-y scent to them. I got them for $5 each (excluding shipping) on Cherry Culture which I think is a pretty alright price but I definitely would not purchase anymore just because I'm not a huge lipgloss fan to begin with and these glosses don't really stand out to me and are not drastically different or unique to any other lipgloss I've tried.
Just in case you were wondering, all the glosses have the usual doe-foot applicator which makes for easy application of the product. I must say, a positive about this product is the colour payoff. Nothing irks me more than having a coloured lipgloss that is super sheer. These glosses really produce a nice vibrant colour which is buildable and true to the colour on the packaging.
L-R: Peach Cobbler, Vanilla Creampie, Peaches and Cream, Cherry Pie, Meringue, Apple Strudel, Strawberry Parfait

Cons:
- Sticky
- The range lacks darker shades for those interested in deeper pinks, berry shades or vampy colours
This will most likely be my last detailed blog post till after my final exams in October :( I may be able to post very quick entries from time to time though!
